This is a modernized version of the classic Star Trek games from the 1970's.

Your crew is important.

Classic Trek is a turn-based game on running a starship out to save the galaxy. Weapons, shields, warp drive, and ... command are all that stop the Klingon invasion fleet.

Complexity is moderate at this point. The old Star Trek feel is represented by miracle working abilities of the crew. Cruise the galaxy, meet interesting Klingons, and kill them. Then board their wrecks and take their stuff.

For those who would like to see what the old Star Trek games were like, here is one that was converted from the 1970 basic code. I've compiled it and put it in a simple zip file. No installer. Just unzip, click and run.
